Design DNA
Understand the donor before transforming it.
The program begins with the Dawn's long hood, formal front, open-cabin position and recognisable Rolls-Royce hierarchy. The coachbuilt direction must change the identity without losing the platform's essential presence.
Research & direction
From complete-vehicle studies to one selected direction.
Front, side and rear views are compared as one family. Stance, graphic balance and the relationship between the long hood, cabin and rear deck are resolved before detailed surface development begins.
Digital foundation
Scan, package and existing hard points.
The real donor is reconstructed as measurable geometry. Wireframe overlays expose the body boundaries, chassis package and retained interfaces that the new coachbuilt surfaces must respect.
Surface development
Controlled geometry across the complete body.
Door surfaces, shoulder transitions, rear volume and panel breaks are developed as connected geometry. Each section is checked at component scale and as part of the full body shell.
Interior integration
The cabin architecture belongs to the new body.
The original cabin package, new console geometry and rear-deck transition are developed together. Seating, trim boundaries and surrounding surfaces remain connected to the exterior coachbuild logic.
Physical development
Coachbuilding is visible in the real body.
Removed panels and full-body surface preparation document the project as a physical transformation. The donor structure is exposed, prepared and checked before the new exterior is finished.
Details & fit
Identity closes through components and interfaces.
Grille, wheel, rear lighting and lower body elements are resolved as distinct components. Their scale, finish and interfaces are checked so the detailed vehicle supports the same coachbuilt identity as the complete body.
Final vehicle
One platform. One complete coachbuilt character.
Donor architecture, exterior identity, digital surface control, cabin integration and physical execution return to one resolved vehicle shown from complementary front and rear perspectives.
